Design Brief

To make a Christmas package that can hold some small chocolate sweets and tissue paper. 

Class 4 adapted simple polygon templates to suit the design brief. They edited points to create stars, Christmas trees and lots of other Christmas designs.

They used the 2Simple program to design a 3D model for a purpose.

They refined their designs and printed as a 2D net then created their 3D model.

Children have been working with Atoms Education on a community project.

Class 4 led the school in Liturgical Prayer with a focus on peace. It was so lovely to come together again as a whole school.

Children in Class 4 have repurposed plastic bottles to create a remembrance tree in the school grounds. We held a silence to remember all of those who are no longer with us.

Peterlee Fire Rescue Service paid a visit to Class 4 today to present about fire safety. Their visit was cut short when they had to respond to an emergency call out.

A big well done to two of our year 6 boys who won 2nd and 3rd place in the rowing challenge during their open evening at St. Bede’s.

After looking at the artist Georgia O’Keefe, children drew inspiration in creating their own enlarged poppy art.

Children in Class 4 enjoyed activities around our emotional wellbeing and discussed ways to help us relax.

Children played board games together and listened to music.

Children in Class 4 have been learning about some of the saints through liturgical prayer and in RE. They have created art work inspired by the different saints.
