Class 4 enjoyed a visit from the school nurse to discuss ways to keep our bodies healthy. Children worked together to make choices about the best ways to stay in good health!

This week class 4 enjoyed one of their regular visits to our local library. The children selected books to read back in school and at home to further develop their love of reading.

Children enjoyed a visit from Santa, who brought everyone in Class 4 a Christmas present to take home and enjoy.

As part of our History topic exploring World War I and World War II, Freya brought in a gas mask which belonged to her grandad for children to look at and discuss.

Class 4 enjoyed a fantastic afternoon outside completing team building challenges and working together to build a den. The children then enjoyed toasting marshmallows in the fire pit before going back to their dens to enjoy the treat.

As part of our topic on Ancient Greece, the children designed a pot influenced by the research carried out on the way pots were used and decorated in Ancient Greece. The children used clay to sculpt their designs before finishing by painting their decoration on the surface.
