Skipping Festival
Class 3 and Class 4 had an amazing day at the Skipping Festival.
St. Joseph’s came first and won the gold award. We also had a lot of individual gold, silver and bronze awards.
We are very proud of you all. Well done to all of the children who took part in the festival.
Energy Heroes
Energy Heroes led a whole school assembly to educate our children to become models of energy efficiency.
Year 5 then worked with Energy Experts on a variety of challenges around the theme of being ‘energy literate’ supporting them to
develop lifelong skills that will help them to make informed choices about energy use and climate change.
Youth Village
Children in Year 5 and 6 have enjoyed a relaxing retreat at the Youth Village. All children participated in a range of activities and as always behaviour was fantastic.
Police Visit
Key Stage 2 were visited by PCSO Ian Goodwin who gave them some brilliant tips and advice about how to stay safe online. He also discussed the importance of showing kindness and respect to one another.
He even brought some uniform for the children to try on.
It really suits them!
Cards and Calendars
Children in Class 4 have been really busy making Christmas cards and calendars to share with their families. They were very pleased with their finished designs.
Spreading Christmas Cheer
Some of Class 4 made a ‘Top Hat Treat’ with Ms Rosie and shared them with their class mates.
Christmas Kindness
Children in Class 4 have focused on 12 days of Christmas Kindness and thought of additional ways to show kindness to others.
Christmas Performances
Christmas performances are live on the website, please follow the 2021 baubles to the ‘Christmas Zone’ to find each classes work.
Party Time 🎄
Children watched the online Panto Aladdin followed by a message from Santa and a sweet treat.
