In Class 1, you will find Miss Coxon, working alongside children of Nursery and Reception age. Within Class 1, we develop children’s learning through a range of activities including: play-based learning, child-initiated learning and adult-led activities, these build on children’s academic, social, emotional and physical development.
Children learn best through first-hand experiences and when they are interested and motivated to learn. In Class 1, we provide this through our stimulating indoor and outdoor environment, designed to promote independence. We use observations to help us plan around each child’s interests, skills and experiences.
