We enjoy our music lessons. Today we enjoyed listening to the tambourine, wood block and shaker and we had to match it to an action.

This week our new Space role play area opened. We are learning about the first man on the Moon in history so we are exploring what it is like to be an astronaut just like Neil Armstrong.
We had the best day celebrating Children in Need. We enjoyed making Pudsey crafts and performing a Pudsey puppet show.
Every Thursday, class two have a wander to the library. We all look forward to this every week. Last Thursday, Mrs Close made an exciting story box for us so that we can guess what type of story we will read from the clues that emerge from the box.
We had the best day at Hardwick park. We read the story of the Gruffalo then looked for clues on a Gruffalo hunt. Once we had found the Gruffalo and the little brown mouse, we made our woodland Gruffalo crumble from natural materials. After that, we had lunch in the yurt on picnic blankets. Then we learned about different types of trees and played Simon Says to learn about seed dispersal. We also discovered key colours of Autumn and what trees and squirrels do in this season. We really did have the best adventure!
Well done if you have tried hard to complete a homework task. Here is a good example of a seasonal walk.
Today we read Julia Donaldson’s Room on the Broom. Then we had fun outside looking for ingredients for our own potions.
We had the best day at Imagination Village, Hartlepool. We met some new friends from Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School and explored many different role play areas.
We really enjoyed being teachers in the school role play area and fire fighters in the fire station area. We even had a go at being vets and did a good supermarket shop. The social skills that the children gained from the day out were amazing. We were so proud of them all.
This morning we enjoyed making Gruffalo Crumble. We followed the instructions and it was super yummy!
We even had purple prickles made from Jelly tots and green smarties for his poisonous wart!
