Atoms Webinars
Atoms Education CIC is a Community Interest Company who is a provider of educational workshops that help children to develop a range of skills in a practical context. Their workshops cover a range of experiences that are designed to develop key life skills, aspirations, positive mental and physical health and a love of learning. They have produced a leaflet advertising a range of different webinars for both adults and children to enjoy. The webinars range in topics which are based on science, art, baking, music and story time. We hope that you will be able to enjoy the webinars and get some fabulous ideas on how to relax with your little ones while having fun! Webinar dates and times can be found on the leaflet above.
Our First Day in Reception
What a busy day!
The children have been learning our new routines, catching up with friends old and new and most importantly exploring the learning environment.
Keeping Children Safe Online
During Covid-19 our pupils may have been spending more time than usual online or on gaming devices.
It can be hard for adults to keep up with the latest games, apps and social media, so below a useful link to the NSPCC’s Net Aware site.
On the main screen there is a search box, simply key in the name of the particular game, App or social media and it will give you a summary of what it is, identify any risks and explain how you can take simple steps to make things safer. It also includes useful information such as:
• Age rating
• An expert view of the risks
• Top tips for usage
• Top tips for staying safe
