Mindfulness
We are having a lovely day today. Everyone has come back to school with big smiles on their faces. We have enjoyed mindful colouring after lunch while listening to calm and relaxing music. It is great to have everyone back in our class family.
Outdoor Learning.
Mr Baker helped us to work on working as a team today as we made a huge model of a plant. We collect items and work collaboratively to make it.
World Book Day
We have had the best week this week celebrating World Book Day. We read the book, What We’ll Build by Oliver Jeffers. This made us think about recycling and how important it is to keep our world healthy. We then created our own recycling robots.
We started the day by sharing our whole school book ‘What We’ll Build’ by Oliver Jeffers.
Nurturing Nature–How can we look after our planet?
Transcient Art
We ended the day with a game of Catchphrase, the children enjoyed it and they want to play again tomorrow.
More Fair Trade Chocolate designs.
We have really enjoyed our art task this afternoon.
Will any of us be the next Willy Wonker?
Fair Trade Chocolate Bars.
This week we are learning about Fair Trade. We have designed our own chocolate bars. Our designs are amazing! Spider-Man, Hulk and Yummio were a few of our favourite chocolate bar names.
This week we have been learning about Chinese New Year. We explored the different traditions, dragon dances and even found out which animal we were.
Here are some of the wonderful cards the children have made:
The children used traditional colours and included dragons, lanterns and fireworks.
Outdoor Learning
We enjoyed time with Mr Baker today. We made our own stick men. Then we made popcorn over the fire that we made.
Feel Good Friday
We had fun making paper aeroplanes and we had a race.
